From Salon Experience to Becoming an Akzéntz ACE Educator in Toronto

My journey in the nail industry began by working in nail salons, beauty salons, and spa environments, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in client care, gel nail services,

and professional salon operations. Working closely with clients helped me understand the importance of quality products, professional techniques, and creating beautiful nail results that clients truly enjoy and trust.

After starting my own nail business, I wanted to offer salon-quality services using professional-grade products that provided durability, performance, and healthier nail results. During this journey, I discovered Akzéntz, a professional-only Canadian nail brand known for its advanced gel systems and education programs.

Once I introduced Akzéntz products into my services, I quickly noticed the difference in product quality, retention, shine, and overall client satisfaction. Clients loved the elegant finishes, long-lasting wear, and healthier natural nail support. Many clients continued returning for gel nail services because they trusted the results and enjoyed the professional salon experience.

As my business continued to grow, I also expanded my nail art design services. Clients became excited about personalizing their nails with elegant nail art, seasonal collections, chrome effects, florals, cat eye gels, charms, hand-painted details, and creative custom designs. Seeing clients happy and confident after their appointments became one of the most rewarding parts of my career and continues to inspire my passion for nail artistry and creativity.

My growing passion for professional gel nail services and education inspired me to pursue the Akzéntz ACE Educator Program. The ACE Program, meaning Akzéntz Certified Educator, is designed for experienced nail professionals who want to teach and certify others in Akzéntz systems. I chose this path to improve my technical skills, strengthen my educational knowledge, support other nail technicians, and continue growing within the beauty industry.

The educator training focuses on advanced techniques, demonstrations, classroom management, certification methods, leadership, and professional salon standards. Becoming an ACE Educator also provides opportunities for professional recognition, mentorship, access to official certification systems, and connection with a global educator community.

Today, I am proud to offer Akzéntz certificate classes and professional nail education in the Toronto area while continuing to provide salon-quality gel nail services and creative nail art designs for clients. My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive learning environment where students and clients can feel inspired, confident, and excited about professional nail artistry and education.
